DINING ROOM

Experience the warm and welcoming feel of an Omani colonial home for breakfast, a casual lunch or for dinner. Dining Room has the opulent feel of a traditional Omani colonial home and lies at the heart of the Zamani Residence with stunning views to the dhow harbours and Indian Ocean. With simple yet elegant interiors and a combination of seating, featuring both intimate areas and inviting communal tables, the ambience is relaxed, informal and residential. The menu showcases the culinary traditions of Arabian, Persian and Portuguese cuisine and has been designed to include the freshest of ingredients, largely sourced from local farms and markets. A traditional grill and wood fired ovens cooks delectable dishes to perfection, using authentic recipes and locally-loved cooking methods. At breakfast, an extensive cold buffet can be enjoyed whilst hot a la carte dishes are cooked to your exact specifications in the open kitchen.

THE LIBRARY AND VERANDA

Enjoy a refreshing pre or post dinner cocktail or a relaxed rendez-vous with friends.  The sophisticated yet relaxed ambience, combining eclectic art and a wide selection of books on Zanzibar’s history and heritage, features a residential style and an inviting lounge area, with plush sofas, intimate corners and elegant lighting. LIVING ROOM

Ideal for a gathering with family or friends, the Living Room is casual and comfortable yet refined and elegant. Living Room is the lounge area of the Zamani Residence and has been designed to be an inviting space, featuring vibrant colours, chandelier lighting and plush sofas. It serves up delicious light meals and snacks for both lunch and dinner and is the ideal venue for casual meetings with friends and family.

POOL LOUNGE

Located by the Oceanfront Infinity Pool, which overlooks Stone Town’s beach and the azure seas of the Indian Ocean beyond, the Pool Lounge specialises in local fish and seafood, prepared on a charcoal grill alongside traditional western sandwiches and salads. The bar is on hand to press freshly squeezed juices, make lemonades and shake classic cocktails whilst a gelato station serves homemade ice cream, shakes and smoothies. The Pool Lounge is relaxed and comfortable, with casual seating and a warm friendly service, making it an ideal space for guests to enjoy a light lunch, afternoon snack or a refreshment whilst basking in the midday sun, indulging in unhurried, friendly conversation or simply relaxing while taking in the stunning views.

There is not really a bad or good time to go, but almost anytime it suits you. However there are two main seasons in Zanzibar. A High or Standard season is usually between June and March when you can expect Zanzibar to be very popular among worldwide tourists. Rainy season is usually during April and May when the heavy, but short rains can often occur, but it’s also the season when it’s the least crowded.
