The island of Tenerife is the largest in the Canary archipelago. Firstly, it is known as the island of eternal spring because of its all year round excellent climate. Playa Jardin is situated on the outskirts of Puerto de la Cruz. The beach consists of one small and two large bays separated by large rocks. You have to know that Playa Jardin is the largest of the few sandy beaches in the North of Tenerife. Part of the beach area is a very nicely landscaped garden from which the beach got its name. Firstly, there are many flowers, palm trees and other trees which provide shade for beach users. Secondly, a promenade, which is partly on two levels, runs through the garden and along the whole beach. In addition, here you can find several restaurants which cater for all tastes.

Loro Park is an absolute must when you come in Tenerife. This outstanding zoo is great for all ages and will amaze you with its impressive collections of tropical and endangered species such as parrots and the majestic Orca whales.

Costa Martiánez municipal complex is the pride of Puerto de la Cruz and one of the most acclaimed examples of coastal transformation. This unique complex blends into the traditional Canarian architecture. Moreover, it is enhanced with touches of native flora and original sculptures. Its artificial sea water lake is complemented by four other adult pools and three for children, each with a beautiful unique design. A wide range of bars, restaurants and refreshment stands add to the lively atmosphere and make it one of the most appealing complexes on the island.

Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de la Pena Francia is a charming and imposing church which sits in a central location in a pretty plaza. It has 3 large splendid altars in the Spanish Colonial style, which are worth spending time admiring.
