Historic and religious attractions in Mlini area

Don’t miss Dubrovnik Old Town, probably the most important attraction on its own. Reach it by boat or by car from Mlini. The Old Town of Dubrovnik is filled with buildings of a rare beauty and the streets are made from marble. You have to be careful when it rains, because the streets turn into a huge skating rink. The Church of St. Hilarius was originally built in the 12th century. Find it located in the oldest part of the city, close to the beach. The church is dedicated to the town’s patron saint St. Hilary. According to an ancient legend, he killed a dragon on the coast and freed the area from paganism.

The medieval Chapel of St. Roch is beautifully located right beside Mlini’s beach. The chapel commemorates St. Rocco, known as a protector against the plague in the 15th century.
