Beaches in Es Canar

Playa de Es Canar is perfect for you if you come with your family. You only have to look at the shallow water’s edge where dozens of screaming kids are running around enjoying themselves. Soft sand and very shallow water provide ideal conditions for the kids to enjoy themselves here and there are also plenty of loungers for sunbathing. If you wish, you can hire kayaks, pedal boats and boards for stand-up paddling. In short, Playa de Es Canar has all necessary amenities with a wooden ramp, showers and toilets.

Cala Nova Beach is a wide, long curve of sandy beach. You will find here  clean shallow waters and golden sand. With the right wind Cala Nova is one of Ibiza’s few beaches with decent surf. Therefore is very popular with the few dedicated surfers on the island. The surrounding scenery is wild and natural with a little hill covered in pine trees.

Cala Martina Beach has excellent water sports facilities and a very sheltered beach. It’s ideal for all your family. However, you need to know  that this beach is still popular with the young hippie crowd. Two beach restaurants will cool your thirst and there is some great walking around the cliffs to the right of the beach. Therefore, this beach is one of the most popular beaches for windsurfers, suitable for experts and beginners alike.

S’Argamassa Beach is a secluded beach between Cala Martina and Cala Pada. It is well-kept, with nice sand and sheltered waters. Most importantly, it is ideal for long beach days. Right at the beach you’ll find Cesar’s water sport centre with an amazing number of water sports, fun water toys and boat excursions.
