Farm of Dreams Lodge is the ultimate oasis of serendipity and soul where sophistication and ease seamlessly blend with timeless design. Its location is stimulating, charismatic and iconic. The property offers spectacular sweeping views of the hills and close distant to the Ngorongoro Crater and Conservation Area, Lake Eyasi and Lake Manyara National Park.
As the blue cloud sky decorates the atmosphere and the tweeting birds nest in the short acacia trees, lies the magnificent of Farm of Dreams Lodge. From inception, the founders wanted to create a special place away from the routine and busy happenings of our daily lives.
That space that would be tranquil, relaxing, beautiful, and natural and it would help our guests unwind, recoup and have fun. In a bid to create this special space, we have assembled a Team that strives every day to deliver personalised care and service to all our guests. Our team believes in putting a smile on the faces of all our guests. THE LODGE
Farm of Dream Lodge is home to twelve villages with 48 Double Rooms and Superior Rooms built in one of the best spots in the heart of this infamous town of Karatu.

A wide choice of lodge facilities like: Single beds, Double beds, Twin beds or Triple beds, En-suite bathroom (toilet and shower), Banana Thatched roof, Own private terrace with safari chairs, Fan, Mosquito net, Terrace/balcony (private), Secure Parking, 24/7 Security, Swimming Pool.
RESTAURANT AND BAR
The lodge is surrounded by the nature’s bounty; the beautiful flower-lined paths offer birds singing from Jacaranda trees and flowers that grow to startling sizes and beauty.
RESTAURANT
Let our chefs introduce you to the best of Tanzanian and International cuisine and that’s just the starters. The restaurant serves a la carte menus as well as set buffets. Theme nights are held throughout the week and include barbecues and Swahili menus. We create a set menu each day, which reflects our philosophy of simple food, using the freshest, seasonal ingredients cooked by the chefs in our kitchen. We source many of the vegetables from our own ‘shamba’ (vegetable garden). For any special needs please speak to the chef, who will be more than happy to cater for your particular taste.
LOUNGE BAR
The bar is located in the main building close to the main dining area. The décor has an African touch that makes it a wonderful place to pass time and relax. There is a variety drinks served and include liqueur, soft drinks, cocktails, wines, and spirits, local and international beers. Guests can enjoy a pre-dinner drink around the pool. The seating capacity is about 40 guests.
ACCOMMODATION
The warm and cosy rooms overlook the reserve and tropical gardens and include large en-suite bathrooms with WC, shower and wash basins as well as luxurious toiletries.
THE ROOMS
Farm of Dreams Lodge has 40 spacious, well-appointed rooms which are all en-suited and give you a chance to enjoy the beautiful gardens from the comfort of your room. To add to the charm and intimacy, the soft, fine linen, and thick white towels quietly whisper romance. All bedrooms have mosquito netting and a fan. In addition, if you are travelling as family, you might want to keep your children close yet wish to have a private room of your own. Then interconnecting rooms are the answer and Farm of Dreams lodge offers 8 spacious interconnected rooms for families and large group travelling together.
CONFERENCE
The Main Hall has a capacity of 120 pax, it is well ventilated and state of the art, with conference chairs and tables, PA system, Projector and much more available. The hall also has Wi-Fi access and a private garden for outdoor functions and events. The hall is ideal for wedding functions and ceremonies.
Conference Facilities
Morning or afternoon Tea or Coffee break with assorted snacks, 1 soft drink per person during meals, 2 bottles of mineral water (500) per person in the conference room. Writing pen and pad, Flip chart and 3 marks, LCD Projector, PA system, Unlimited wireless internet connectivity.

GUIDED NATURE WALKING
Tanzania is a great ornithological destination. The bird life found in the forest is abundant and varied with over of 1,100 species is the third-highest in Africa. Birds can be watched whilst on a safari drive or on an organized nature walk from the lodge. Our resident naturalist will take you on a guided tour through the park to learn about the various bird species.
WILDLIFE TOUR/VIEWING
The lodge is located near the most amazing wildlife areas on the planet. We are about 20 minutes’ drive to The Heritage Ngorongoro Conservation Area. To the east and south lies Lake Manyara National Park. You can also have a day trip to the Tarangire National Park.
Picking your daily herbs and veggies at our own spectacular farm
As the name itself explains, as Farm of Dreams, we have our own farm that has seasonal herbs and vegetables which are taken care of well and allows you to have a choice of your favourite herbs and vegetables which we cook for you as per selection.
TRADITIONAL DANCES
On alternate evenings, a troupe of sangomas or maasai morans entertain guests with traditional songs and dances. This normally takes place after evening dinner at about 9.15pm.
