Donations from World Lifetime Journeys
Book with us and change people’s and animals lives
We want to make a difference in this world. All donations that World Lifetime Journeys gets involved in, cannot be done without your help. A part from your money you pay to us for your holidays, will go for charitable causes. We are helping poor and sick people around the world, children in orphanages and other places, elderly people in care centers, people with health problems or disabilities. We also get involved in natural and environmental problems or in animal care and more.
Please see below some of the projects and organizations we are getting involved in. If you have an idea for a charitable cause please tell us. You can involve as well in our projects and charitable donations by inviting your friends and families to book their holidays with us. May God bless you all for the contribution you have in changing this world and get better people out of it. It is only through Jesus that we can all be saved!
Donations from World Lifetime Journeys to orphanages in Africa
World Lifetime Journeys has a well established partnership with our sister company from Tanzania, Africa. We can’t thank enough our local Tanzanian partners specially Mr. Innocent, for getting involved in these projects for helping the poor children from the local orphanages. We usually buy food and toys for them and we love to see their smiley faces.
Donations to Samaritan’s purse – Operation Christmas Child
The first time we got involved in the Operation Christmas Child was in 2019. And this was a wonderful experience for us to pack shoe boxes full of presents for the poor children around the world. Seeing their smiley faces when they’ve got their present is indeed an unforgettable experience. We plan to do this and get involved every year. A simple shoebox gift packed with love and fuelled by prayer can have a huge impact! Watch how Operation Christmas Child brings Good News and great joy to children around the world.
A bit about the Samaritan’s Purse and who they are:
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organisation providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organisation serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Samaritan’s Purse UK is an international relief and development organisation that works through local churches to proclaim and demonstrate the love of God amongst communities in need (in countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia) across the world.
Donations to Samaritan’s purse – International Disasters Relief
From Bringing Hope in the Wake of Australian Bushfires and Samaritan’s Purse Airlifts Field Hospital to Italy to Coronavirus Response and the European Refugee Crisis there are many International projects where we can all help. Since 2009, you have enabled us to respond to over 112 disasters around the world.
Our mission is to bring hope and light in the darkest situations as fast as we can when disaster strikes. Working through the local church and ministry partners on the ground, utilising all our experience in food distribution, water, sanitation and hygiene, shelter and medical services in Jesus Name. With your prayers and support we are able to step into places of suffering with the sole purpose of glorifying God by serving others. Together we make Jesus’ Name known in some of the most crisis-stricken areas of the globe. More information about the International Disasters Relief here.
Donations to Samaritan’s purse – Livelihoods
From helping with the Diary Animals and Livestock to Farm and Garden and Fruit Trees and Forestry there are many International projects we can get involved with your help or you can get involved yourselves directly. Families engaged in subsistence farming often live in chronic poverty and malnutrition, lacking the skills to get the most out of their small patches of land. Others have seen their livelihoods wiped out by drought, disaster, or war. Through our Animals, Agriculture, and Livelihoods programmes, Samaritan’s Purse has helped to provide thousands of impoverished farmers, herders, and fishermen around the world with the resources and training they need to feed their families and even obtain a modest income that can be used for education, medical care, or other needs. More information about the Livelihoods here.
Donations to Samaritan’s purse – Raising Families
Thanks for booking with us. With your help, we can contribute in poverty projects where Samaritan’s Purse was able to help many thousands of people out of crippling poverty through our Raising Families campaign. Building on the success of this programme, our focus is to develop four new projects to change the lives of whole communities. There are currently four new projects meaning four more communities that can be lifted out of poverty. More information about the Raising Families here.
Donations to Samaritan’s purse – The Greatest Journey
Every shoebox gift delivered by Operation Christmas Child is a tangible expression of God’s amazing love. But a shoebox is just the beginning. It also presents an opportunity in more than 100 countries for our church partners to invite children into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through The Greatest Journey. After receiving a shoebox gift, children have the opportunity to enrol in The Greatest Journey – 12 fun and interactive Bible lessons, where they get the chance to discover who Jesus is and how to begin their own journey of faith. More about the Greatest Journey here.
Donations from World Lifetime Journeys to Samaritan’s purse – Water
An estimated 842,000 people die each year from diseases caused by unclean water, inadequate sanitation, and poor hygiene habits. The majority of these are children in developing countries. Providing clean water, coupled with health and hygiene education, is perhaps the most effective measure we can take in preventing infectious disease. Samaritan’s Purse works around the world to provide clean water and promote safe hygiene practices. More information about the Water project here.
Donations to Samaritan’s purse – Women at risk
We believe all women and girls should have the opportunity to survive and thrive leading healthy and dignified lives. Yet women all over the world face the dark reality of abandonment, exploitation and abuse. Every 90 seconds, a woman dies during pregnancy or child-birth. By giving pregnant women and mothers of newborns in remote and impoverished communities vital healthcare and knowledge we’re saving the lives of women and their babies. 25,000 women a month are receiving lifesaving training on health practices, equipping their families to survive. 750+ people a month are gaining vital knowledge on sexual gender-based violence, anti-trafficking and child protection. 200+ people a month are receiving trauma related counselling and rehabilitation from violence and abuse. More about the Women at risk here.
