WELCOME TO KUBU KUBU TENTED CAMP, SERENGETI
Kubu Kubu Tented Camp is an exciting new addition to Tanganyika Wilderness Camps’ collection of luxury safari accommodation. With a modern African appearance, creating a fresh, sleek, yet comfortable ambience. Situated in the stunning central part of the Serengeti, the camp will be strategically positioned in one of the main migration areas so that guests can enjoy this awesome natural wonder from the comfort of their tents.
ACCESS
Kubu Kubu Tented Camp is perfectly positioned to be within easy reach of different parts of the Serengeti National Park and an array of areas of interest and diverse habitats and wildlife, including the famous Maasai Kopjes, Olduvai Gorge Museum, the southern plains, the Seronera Valley and the Grumeti River. It has been designed with a modern African decorative style that creates a fresh and bright atmosphere, but very cosy and with the right amount of luxury. Guests can attend to the show of the Great Migration from the comfort of their tents.
ACCOMMODATION and ROOM FACILITIES
At Kubu Kubu Tented Camp we have 25 spacious en-suite tents which will offer absolute comfort, exclusivity and a genuine African bush experience. Accommodation will be on a full board basis. In room, you can find: Mosquito Nets, Mineral Water and Solar Energy Electricity.
Suite Tent: 18 spacious double tents, each with a large king size bed or twin beds. En-suite bathrooms have a flush toilet, hand basin and shower with hot water. Lights are powered by solar with a back-up generator.
Family Suite Tent: One unit including two rooms interconnected. Each room includes private bathroom, with outside shower and bathtub.
Quadruple suite tent: Room with en-suite facilities with capacity for 4 guests.
Standard Tent: Stylish tent built on wooden platforms with en-suite facilities overlooking Serengeti National Park. All rooms feature a balcony with views.
RECREATION
Bush Breakfast: In a private area of the Serengeti enjoy a private breakfast in the bush.
Sundowner: In a nearby hill to the camp. Wak up for 5 minutes escorted by a Masai Warrior and enjoy a beautiful sundowner.
Swimming-pool: Enjoy a swim and the stunning scenery as you relax through your day.
RESTAURANT and BAR
In the central restaurant, guests can enjoy exceptional food and wines, and the cosy lounge area has been designed to give an atmosphere of intimacy and exclusivity with comfy armchairs and sofas. There is internet access and Wi-fi is available in the central area. A small library and selection of board games ensures that our guests are always occupied. For those who want to cool down after a dusty game drive, the refreshing swimming pool is the perfect place to relax and unwind. And in the evening, guests can marvel at the extraordinary sunsets with a spoiling cocktail beside the warming camp fire.
