Welcome to Mbugani Serengeti Camp Seronera area, Serengeti National Park


The semi-permanent Mbugani Seronera Camp is ideally located in Central Serengeti, and provides serene views of water and wildlife. In addition to the Seronera camp, Mbugani Camps offers a mobile camp that follows The Great Migration of the Wildebeest. The camp is situated in a truly prime location with a wide range of wildlife passing through the camp going towards the turner river which is just behind the camp.

The camps are powered by solar energy and a backup generator to keep essential systems running at all times. From Seronera airstrip to Mbugani Camp is approximately 30 minute drive away. Mbugani camp is also accessible by road from Arusha on a distance of 345 kilometers which takes approximately 8 hours.

ACCOMMODATION

The intimate tented camp comprises of a main lounge and a dining area which offers plenty of sitting plus 14 specious sleeping tents all with en-suite facilities including Eco friendly flush toilet with showers. The tent rooms offer double bed / Twin beds / Triple beds and Quad for family with young children.

All the tents have comfortable beds with proper linen to ensure you get a good relaxed sleep after a long day game drive. The tents are widely spread to ensure privacy and offer sense of freedom, surrounded by bush plants, 24/7 power with charging cables, spacious, wide, airy windows, private bath with shower, sink and flush toilet running hot and cold water, available 24/7.

FURNISHED SITTING AREA

A short walk will lead you to the Lounge / Bar / Dining area and to the fireplace for relaxing. The camp is powered by Solar power for lighting. Hot and cold water is available throughout the day at all time. Our friendly staff will be on hand to look after your needs during the stay at Mbugani Camp.  Our professional chef will prepare a wholesome of range of fresh seasonal products ensuring you enjoy varied meals during your stay.

LOUNGE, CAMPFIRE AND DINNING

A lounge tent is available to all as a gathering place to meet up with fellow travelers, charge up your cameras and other electronics or just to relax on the sofas and reflect on your good fortune to be staying here. Each evening a campfire is lit, encircled by safari camp chairs and side tables for a Sundowner (snacks and beverages), storytelling and a recap of the day’s game drive.

The dining tent features hardwood furniture, crisp linens, china, glassware and flatware along with locally-made fabrics and decorative items. The walls of the tent can be removed for al fresco dining and boasts a full bar with fine wines from South Africa.

Offering 3 multi-course meals each day, as well as lunch boxes for game drives, Mbugani Camp has an accomplished chef who prepares scrumptious and generous meals, along with freshly baked breads and desserts. Vegetarian cuisine and special dietary meals are prepared upon request.

​At the end of the day, guests can enjoy a sundowner at the camp, which includes cocktails, food, and a warm campfire.
